The Public Establishment of Urban and Suburban Transport of Algiers (ETUSA) announced on Wednesday that transport will be free across its entire network throughout the day on Thursday, July 2, following instructions from the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud.
In a statement, the company specified that this measure aims to allow citizens to travel to polling stations under the best possible conditions, enabling them to fulfill their national duty and participate in the legislative elections scheduled for Thursday.
ETUSA added that it has mobilized all of its field teams to ensure the smooth operation of its services and to meet the travel needs of commuters on the occasion of this important electoral event.
