The 64th Anniversary of Independence Day: Naming Several Facilities Across the National Territory after Martyrs of the Liberation Revolution

On Sunday, a number of facilities and structures belonging to the Ministry of National Defence were named after martyrs and mujahideen of the glorious Liberation Revolution, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence Day and the restoration of national sovereignty, according to a statement by the ministry.

On this occasion, the Mother and Child Hospital in Beni Messous was named after the Mujahid Bachir Mentouri, while the National Service Center in Algiers was named after the Mujahid Lyès Deriche, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the First Military Region.

In the same context, the National School of Paramedical Training for Military Health was named after the Mujahid Ahmed Bradaï, and the People's National Army Kindergarten was named after the Mujahid Mohamed Ould Salem, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Sixth Military Region.

Similarly, the Military Installations Department in Constantine was named after the Mujahid Mohamed Dib, and the new headquarters of the Military Sector in Guelma was inaugurated under the name of the Martyr Nouiouet Chouiter Aissa, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Fifth Military Region.

On this auspicious day, the Medical-Social Center of the People's National Army in Sidi Khouiled, Ouargla, was named after the Mujahid Ferhat Sayeh, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Fourth Military Region.

In the same vein, the 47th Motorized Intervention Regiment of the Republican Guard Command was named after the Martyr Hamoud Laroussi, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Republican Guard.

Additionally, a support battalion of the 32nd Motorized Infantry Brigade was named after the Martyr Larabi Brahmi, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Central Operational Sector in the Third Military Region.

Still within the framework of the celebrations commemorating Independence Day and the restoration of national sovereignty, the 37th Regiment of the 40th Mechanized Infantry Division was named after the Martyr Messaoudi Abderahmen, under the supervision of the Major General, Division Commander in the Third Military Region. Furthermore, the Central Fuel Reserve Depot was named after the Martyr Maamar Hassani, and the Medical-Social Services Club of the People's National Army in Oran was named after the Mujahid Djelloul Bakhti Nemmiche, under the supervision of the Major General, Commander of the Second Military Region.

Commemorating the same anniversary, several activities were organized at the Regional Media Center of Béchar in the Third Military Region, the Territorial Media Centers of Batna, Souk Ahras, and Sétif, and the Regional Media Center of Constantine in the Military Region.
