The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a congratulatory message from the President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump, on the occasion of the celebration of the 64th anniversary of Independence and the restoration of national sovereignty. In the message, President Trump expressed his sincerest congratulations, wishing the Algerian people further progress and prosperity.
The US President emphasized that Algerian-American relations "witnessed further strength and development over the past year," praising the "progress achieved in the bilateral partnership, particularly in the areas of supporting peace and security, and cooperation in combating terrorism."
He also highlighted the "growing economic cooperation between the two countries, serving the mutual interests of both the Algerian and American peoples."
