Algeria-Tunisia: Launch of the Follow-up Committee Meeting to Evaluate the Recommendations of the 23rd Session of the Joint Grand Committee

The work of the follow-up committee meeting to evaluate the recommendations of the 23rd session of the Algerian-Tunisian Joint Grand Committee for Cooperation launched this Wednesday afternoon in Algiers, co-chaired by the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, and the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti.

This meeting follows the conclusion of the follow-up committee's work at the expert level, which began yesterday, Tuesday, and was dedicated to examining several bilateral sectoral cooperation files and preparing the draft minutes of the committee.

The meeting's agenda includes an opening session chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries, as well as a presentation on the outcomes of the expert-level follow-up committee meeting by the Director General of Arab Countries and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, prior to the signing of the committee's minutes by both foreign ministers.

This meeting falls within the framework of consultation and coordination mechanisms between Algeria and Tunisia, aimed at following up on joint cooperation files and strengthening bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries.
