The Minister of Youth, in charge of the Higher Youth Council, Mr. Mustapha Hidaoui, received a delegation of Tunisian youth visiting Algeria as part of a youth exchange program aimed at strengthening the ties of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries, a ministry statement indicated on Sunday.
Mr. Hidaoui received the delegation of Tunisian youth on Saturday evening at the Arts and Culture Center of the Palais des Raïs (Bastion 23). Their visit falls within the framework of "a youth exchange program comprising several activities, as well as field and cultural visits, aimed at strengthening fraternal and cooperative ties and fostering the exchange of expertise between the youth of both countries, running from June 23 to 29," the same source specified.
During this meeting, held in the presence of the Director of Youth and Sports for the Blida wilaya and executives from the sector, the Minister highlighted in his welcome address "the depth of the historical ties uniting the two brotherly peoples." He recalled "the importance of youth exchange programs in consolidating the ties of brotherhood and strengthening dialogue and contacts between the youth of both countries, thereby contributing to anchoring the values of cooperation, solidarity, and openness."
In this context, he observed that youth diplomacy has become "an essential pillar for the strengthening of relations between peoples and a space fostering mutual understanding, cultural rapprochement, and the exchange of expertise." He assured that youth represent "an active force in establishing bridges of communication and consolidating partnerships based on mutual respect and best shared interests, capable of further strengthening the fraternal relations between Algeria and Tunisia."
