Attaf Receives State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Norway

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today, Tuesday, at the ministry's headquarters, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Norway, Mr. Snorre Erichsen Skjevrak, who is currently visiting Algeria, according to a ministry statement.

The statement explained that this meeting allowed for "reviewing the current state of historical cooperation and partnership relations existing between Algeria and Norway, particularly in fields related to hydrocarbons, renewable energy, and energy transition, as well as the vital role of both countries in ensuring global energy security and supplying the European market with its energy needs."

The two sides also emphasized "the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation by encouraging direct investments in light of the advantages and incentives provided by Algeria's business climate to foreign economic operators," according to the same source.
