The َAlgerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, affirmed on Sunday at the “Abdelatif Rahal” International Conference Center (Algiers) that the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, fully deserved credit for proposing the initiative to organize the International Conference on Colonial Crimes in Africa.
In his address at the opening of this conference, Mr. Attaf conveyed the President of the Republic’s greetings to the participants in this major event, held under his High Patronage and organized in close coordination with the African Union Commission (AUC).
The Minister of State emphasized that the President of the Republic had all the merit for proposing the organization of this international conference during the most recent Ordinary Summit of the African Union (AU), held at the beginning of the current year—an initiative which, he noted, “was unanimously welcomed and endorsed by his African brothers.”
