Attaf Receives the Chairperson of the African Union Commission

On Sunday, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, on the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa, known as the “Oran Process,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

The meeting focused on the latest political and security developments across Africa, with particular attention to the challenges posed by the current international context. Both parties also exchanged views on the situation in the Sahel region and the Western Sahara issue, emphasizing the African Union’s role in addressing these challenges.
