Consequently, the services of the Wilaya of Algiers inform all citizens that a decision has been made to temporarily close all forest spaces and public parks. This includes, notably, the Sablettes Park, the Hamma Botanical Garden, the Zoological and Civil Concord Leisure Park in Ben Aknoun, El-Kettani Park, the Bourouba Prise d’eau Park, and the Oued Smar Aqua Park. These closures are effective for Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29, 2026.

The Wilaya of Algiers services also call upon citizens to "respect safety rules, exercise vigilance, and comply with the following instructions: avoid visiting forest areas, open public spaces, and coastal zones; secure or remove flower pots and any objects liable to fall from balconies and rooftops; avoid parking or walking near trees and utility poles; reduce speed; drive cautiously; and hold the steering wheel firmly, particularly during sudden gusts."

The services of the Wilaya of Algiers renew "their appeal to all citizens to comply with these instructions for the sake of their safety and the protection of their property until the end of the validity period of this special bulletin," the source concluded.
