President Receives Phone Call from Italian Prime Minister

Today, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a phone call from Ms. Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic. During the call, they discussed bilateral cooperation between Algeria and friendly Italy, as well as the anticipated Euro-African Summit.

On the same occasion, they also discussed combating irregular migration and the Italian Prime Minister's upcoming visit to Algeria, scheduled after the holy month of Ramadan. This visit will provide an opportunity to establish the Algerian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, a proposal made by Ms. Giorgia Meloni.
