Twelve Palestinians, including four children, were martyred and others injured this Wednesday as zionist occupation artillery shelled tents and homes of citizens east of Gaza and south of Khan Younis, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).
Medical sources reported that nine Palestinians, including three children, were martyred and others injured following the occupation's artillery shelling that targeted citizens' tents and homes in the Al-Zaytun and Al-Tuffah quarters, east of Gaza.
The sources added that three more citizens, including a child, were martyred and others injured after occupation artillery shelled displaced persons' tents in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis.
Since the ceasefire agreement last October, 529 citizens have been martyred and more than 1,460 others injured.
