UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized that the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip "must not be replicated in Lebanon."
"Across the region and beyond, civilians are suffering severe harm and living in deep insecurity. I witnessed this during my recent visit to Lebanon," Antonio Guterres told the press on Wednesday. He added that "the Zionist entity must cease its military operations and strikes against Lebanon, where civilians are the most affected."
"The Gaza model must not be replicated in Lebanon," he insisted.
In violation of the ceasefire in effect since late November 2024, the Zionist army continues its aggressions against Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the toll of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon has risen to 1,072 martyrs and 2,966 injured since March 2.
