The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, visited the Martyr's Sanctuary (Maqam El-Chahid) in Algiers on Tuesday. He laid a wreath at the memorial monument of the martyrs of the glorious Liberation Revolution and recited the Fatiha in memory of their pure souls.
Following this, the Mauritanian Prime Minister visited the National Museum of the Moudjahid, where he received detailed briefings on the various historical stages of Algeria and its struggle, from the popular resistances through the National Movement to the Revolution of November 1, 1954.
The Mauritanian Prime Minister arrived in Algeria on Monday for an official visit, leading a high-level ministerial delegation as part of the 20th session of the Algerian-Mauritanian High Joint Commission for Cooperation.
