Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and his Mauritanian counterpart, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, co-chaired on Tuesday at the Government Palace in Algiers the opening of the 20th session of the Algerian-Mauritanian High Joint Commission for Cooperation.
This session takes place within the context of the positive dynamic in bilateral relations between Algeria and Mauritania and the commitment of the leadership of both nations to elevate common cooperation to broader horizons, serving mutual interests and strengthening the fraternal bonds between the two brotherly peoples.
The proceedings of this session are dedicated to exploring ways to develop the bilateral partnership, encourage investment, and facilitate trade exchanges, with a special focus on the development of border areas and the enhancement of economic integration between the two countries.
Prime Minister Holds Bilateral Talks with Mauritanian Counterpart
Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb also held bilateral talks on Tuesday at the Government Palace with his Mauritanian counterpart, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay. These discussions took place just prior to the official opening of the 20th session of the High Joint Commission for Cooperation.
