On the sidelines of his participation in the "Antalya Diplomacy Forum," Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks today in Antalya with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.
The meeting provided an opportunity to renew solidarity with brotherly Jordan regarding the negative repercussions it has faced due to the military escalation in the Middle East. Both parties also reaffirmed the deep bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries and their peoples.
The two ministers exchanged views and analyses on the current regional situation in light of the ceasefire agreement. They expressed their hope that negotiations between the concerned parties would lead to a final settlement of various points of contention. In this context, they emphasized the necessity for the international community not to overlook the tragic situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
