A massive demonstration took place yesterday, Sunday, in Rabat to demand an end to the shameful process of normalizing relations between the Makhzen and the Zionist entity and to reiterate the Moroccan people's support for Palestine, which is facing systematic violations and aggression by the occupier.

Gathered at "Bab El Had" square before marching through the main arteries of Rabat, the protesters carried Palestinian flags and signs throughout their route rejecting the continued normalization of relations between the Makhzen and the Zionist entity, which persists in its crimes against the Palestinian people.

"Down with normalization," "No to occupation and Zionism," and "Starving Gaza" were among the slogans chanted by the demonstrators, who responded to the call of the National Action Group for Palestine.

In addition to the National Action Group for Palestine, the demonstration saw the participation of several political formations, including the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the Progress and Socialism Party (PPS), as well as the General Union of Workers of Morocco (UGTM).

In a speech on this occasion, the national coordinator of the National Action Group for Palestine, Abdelhafid Sriti, called for "the end of normalization with the Zionist entity and the severing of all relations with the Zionist occupier," urging the Makhzen "to follow the lead of certain European Union countries that have decided to end all cooperation with the Zionist entity."

For his part, the coordinator of the Moroccan Initiative for the Support of Palestine, Rachid Fellouli, stated that today's demonstration confirms the will of the Moroccan people to "put an end to normalization and all cooperation with the Zionist entity."
