The Air Algérie group announced this Wednesday in a statement its full readiness to secure the Hajj season for the year 1447 AH / 2026 AD, by mobilizing all its human and technical resources to ensure the transport of Algerian pilgrims under the best possible conditions.

The statement explained that the first departure flights to the Holy Lands will begin on April 29, while return flights will start as of June 1, following a "precise" schedule that adheres to strict organizational and accuracy standards.

The same source added that the pilgrim transport operation will involve 12 airports across various wilayas of the country, aiming to bring the service closer to the pilgrims and facilitate their travel.

In this context, the operation will be organized in coordination with Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and Flynas. A total of 176 flights have been scheduled to transport approximately 41,300 pilgrims, with Air Algérie operating 88 flights, representing 50 percent of the total program.

The company confirmed that all organizational and logistical arrangements have been completed. It emphasized a commitment to safety and security standards in coordination with the National Office for Hajj and Umrah (ONPO) to ensure the smooth conduct of this religious event.

Additionally, the airline has provided a toll-free "green number" for pilgrims and their families (+9668008500585), which will operate 24/7 to provide necessary information and support.

Concluding its statement, Air Algérie reaffirmed its pivotal role in serving pilgrims and its commitment to accompanying them throughout their spiritual journey, reflecting the special care the Algerian state dedicates to this blessed religious rite.
