The health authorities in Gaza announced this Monday that the death toll from the Zionist aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,593 martyrs and 172,399 injured since October 7, 2023, according to a statement by the health authorities.
The Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) quoted health authorities stating that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received seven martyrs and 18 injured individuals during the past twenty-four hours.
It indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10th has risen to 817, while the total number of injuries has increased to 2,296. Meanwhile, 762 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
Sources indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach them up to this moment.
