A high-level Algerian technical committee begins a three-day working visit to the Republic of Chad this Sunday. the visit aims to implement bilateral cooperation agreements signed between the two countries in the field of public works and basic infrastructure, according to a statement from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure.
The same source explained that this visit, scheduled for May 3, 4, and 5, follows the directives of the country's high authorities to strengthen cooperation with the Republic of Chad. It serves as a materialization of the memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements concluded between the two nations on April 22.
The committee is composed of representatives from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development (ALDEC), as well as representatives from Cosider TP (Cosider Travaux Publics), the National Company of Public Works (SNTP), and the National Body for Technical Control of Public Works (CTTP).
The statement added that this visit comes in the context of fulfilling the commitments expressed by the presidents of both countries to enhance cooperation, joint action, and expand bilateral partnership, particularly in the public works and basic infrastructure sector.
According to the same source, the visit represents a "practical milestone" to translate the signed agreements into cooperation programs and field implementation mechanisms, reflecting the shared will of both countries to elevate bilateral cooperation to higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
