The President of the Republic of Angola, Mr. João Lourenço, visited on Tuesday afternoon the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence (ENSIA), located at the "Abdelhafid Ihaddaden" Scientific and Technological Hub in Sidi Abdellah (Algiers), where he toured the various facilities of this academic institution.
The distinguished guest was accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, and the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mr. Mohamed Arkab. During the visit, the President attended a detailed presentation on the school, its scientific specializations, and the modern pedagogical tools utilized, notably the high-performance data center.
President João Lourenço also toured an exhibition featuring student-led startups and innovative projects.
It is worth noting that a cooperation agreement between Algeria and Angola was signed on Monday, covering higher education, scientific research, science, technology, and innovation, alongside several other agreements in various sectors as part of the Angolan President's state visit to Algeria.
