Angolan President João Lourenço Concludes State Visit to Algeria

The President of the Republic of Angola, Mr. João Lourenço, left Algiers on Wednesday following a three-day state visit to Algeria.

He was seen off at Houari Boumediene International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, accompanied by:

  • The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf.
  • The Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mr. Mohamed Arkab.
  • The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Lotfi Boudjemaa.
  • The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari.
  • The Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Seddik Aït Messaoudene.

The Angolan President was also seen off by the Minister of Industry, Mr. Yahia Bachir; the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mr. Kamel Rezig; and the Minister of Domestic Trade and Market Regulation, Ms. Amel Abdellatif.

Also present were the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Mr. Omar Rekkache, and Algeria's Ambassador to the Republic of Angola, Mr. Mounir Bourouba.
