Algeria and Hungary Discuss Enhancing Partnership in Pharmaceutical Industry and Clinical Research

The Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Mr. Wassim Kouidri, discussed this Sunday in Algiers with the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Algeria, Mr. Gábor Levente Szarka, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the fields of research and development (R&D) and clinical trials, according to a ministry statement.

The same source explained that the meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters, provided an opportunity to review partnership possibilities between the two countries in various branches of the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on the fields of scientific research and clinical trials, which are witnessing notable progress in Hungary.

The two sides also discussed prospects for exchanging expertise and technical knowledge, which would support and develop pharmaceutical production in Algeria and enhance national healthcare capabilities, according to the statement.

On this occasion, both sides emphasized the importance of encouraging communication and building cooperation links between Algerian economic operators and their Hungarian counterparts, thereby opening new horizons for investment and partnership to serve the mutual interests of both countries.
