The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call today, Monday, from his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman, during which he congratulated him, and through him the Algerian people, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
In turn, the President of the Republic extended his most sincere congratulations to his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and to the brotherly Omani people on this same blessed occasion, wishing the Sultanate of Oman continued prosperity and progress.
The two leaders also took this opportunity to exchange views on the latest developments in the region. The President of the Republic expressed his wishes for continued security and tranquility for the brotherly Omani people, in light of the ongoing developments in the Middle East.
