At the invitation of the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Acacia Bandubola Mbongo, is embarking on a working visit to Algeria, leading a major delegation that includes officials and executives from the Congolese Ministry of Hydrocarbons and the National Hydrocarbons Company "SONAHYDROC."
This visit falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation and partnership relations between Algeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the field of hydrocarbons, and as an embodiment of the mutual desire to develop bilateral cooperation and open new horizons for partnership, particularly in the fields of research and exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, natural gas, as well as human resources development and training.
The visit program will be rich with several meetings, as well as technical and field sessions, during which the Congolese Minister of State will hold talks with the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons. The visit will also include meetings with officials from the sector's most prominent companies and bodies, such as the "Sonatrach" group, the National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources "ALNAFT," and the Hydrocarbons Regulatory Authority.
The program also includes field visits to a number of energy facilities and training institutes belonging to the sector, in order to learn about the Algerian experience and national expertise in the fields of training, the development of oil and gas industries, and the management of various stages of the value chain in the hydrocarbons industry.
