The President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is chairing this Sunday a Cabinet meeting. The session covers presentations specifically regarding the mining sector, preparations for the summer season, as well as the final results of the Eid al-Adha sacrificial livestock acquisition and distribution process, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
The statement read: "At this time, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, is chairing a Cabinet meeting to address several presentations, including: monitoring the expansion and connection of industrial zones and hubs to the strategic Bechar-Tindouf-Gara Djebilet mining rail line; preparations for the summer season and arrangements for welcoming the national community residing abroad; assessing the final outcomes of the process for acquiring and distributing Eid al-Adha sacrificial livestock to citizens; alongside monitoring the reinforcement of oversight mechanisms for consumer products and strengthening laboratory capacities."
