Algeria welcomed this Monday the framework agreement concluded between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which provides for the cessation of military operations in the Gulf and Middle East regions, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
"On this occasion, Algeria expresses its deep appreciation for international mediation efforts, particularly those of Pakistan and Qatar, and emphasizes the importance of all parties respecting the agreed-upon commitments and understandings," the same source stated.
"Algeria also expresses the hope that this agreement will serve as a solid foundation for strengthening trust between the concerned parties and creating a favorable climate for seeking definitive solutions to all outstanding issues, in order to ensure lasting peace, security, and stability in the region," the statement concluded.
