Attaf Meets His Tunisian Counterpart on the Sidelines of the Council of the League of Arab States Meeting

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti.

This took place on the sidelines of the Arab Ministerial Consultative Meeting and the proceedings of the resumed 165th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on June 22, 2026.

During these talks, the two ministers reviewed various aspects of the distinct dynamism characterizing bilateral relations, within the framework of implementing the outcomes of the 23rd session of the Joint Algerian-Tunisian Grand Committee held in December 2025 in Tunis, particularly in the trade, tourism, transport, and energy sectors, as well as preparations for upcoming bilateral events.

On the multilateral level, both sides exchanged views and analyses regarding regional and international issues of common interest, foremost among which were the situation in Libya, as well as security and cooperation in the Mediterranean basin.
