Fifty business leaders were introduced to subcontracting techniques during interactive workshops organized in Constantine on the sidelines of the "open door" days highlighting the National Entrepreneurship Support and Development Agency (NESDA) program, Abdelmalek Lazli, director of the agency's local branch, announced on Tuesday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the closing of this three-day event, held under the slogan "Entrepreneurship: A Promising Choice for Sustainable Development," the official specified that "these are owners of economic enterprises financed through this employment support mechanism. They include young people operating notably in the fields of parapharmaceutical product manufacturing, digital services, printing, and agri-food production."
Led by advisors and training executives from the agency, these workshops, organized across the local annexes of the wilaya, raised participants' awareness of the opportunities offered by the digital platforms "Small Business Hub" and "Al Tawteen." Launched by NESDA, these platforms aim to promote subcontracting, strengthen networking among micro-enterprises, foster their integration into national value chains, and develop opportunities for partnership and economic cooperation, the same source indicated.
The organization of these "open door" days falls within the framework of efforts deployed by public authorities to promote entrepreneurship among young project promoters who have graduated from universities and vocational training institutions. It also aims to provide all necessary explanations regarding the support, financing, and service mechanisms offered by this program, it was explained.
The event also serves to introduce the latest digital applications launched by the program's general directorate, the same source detailed, emphasizing that the sustainability of micro-enterprises is among NESDA’s primary challenges.
It should be noted that NESDA's local branch in Constantine operates four annexes located in the municipalities of Hamma Bouziane, Zighoud Youcef, El Khroub, and the administrative district of Ali Mendjeli, in addition to its main headquarters situated in the wilaya's capital
