An agreement was signed this Wednesday evening in Algiers between the Condor Group and its partners in Rwanda and Tanzania for the export of electronic and household appliances manufactured by the Algerian group to these two countries, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.

The signing ceremony took place at the Pins Maritimes Exhibition Palace under the supervision of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mr. Kamel Rezig, as part of the 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair.

According to the statement, this agreement falls within the framework of the national strategy aimed at expanding the presence of Algerian products on the African continent and leveraging the opportunities offered by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). This subsequently contributes to the strengthening of commercial trade and the increase in the value of Algerian exports.

The agreement also provides for the support of export and marketing operations through a training program for technicians specialized in after-sales services, as well as in the maintenance and repair of appliances, conducted at the Condor Academy. This initiative aims to guarantee the availability of qualified technical services in the targeted markets and to strengthen the trust of African consumers in Algerian products.

In a press statement on this occasion, Mr. Kamel Rezig affirmed that this agreement constitutes "a new step illustrating the strengthening of the Algerian product's presence in African markets." He added that "this type of initiative reflects the dynamic currently experienced by Algerian non-hydrocarbon exports and demonstrates the capacity of national companies to be competitive and establish themselves in foreign markets," the statement concluded.
