The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounes Magramane, received on Wednesday the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Algeria, Mr. Min Kyung-tae, who paid him a courtesy visit, according to a statement from the ministry.
The statement explained that the meeting provided an "opportunity to discuss the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and the Republic of Korea, as well as ways to further strengthen them, within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Agreement in effect between the two countries since 2006."
The two parties reviewed the agenda of upcoming bilateral visits and events scheduled for the second half of the current year, primarily the proceedings of the 4th session of the Algerian-Korean Joint Intergovernmental Commission. Furthermore, they exchanged views on key current regional and international issues, the statement added.
