The President of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention, and Fight Against Corruption (HATPLC), Mrs. Salima Mousserati, chaired a meeting of the HATPLC Council, held as part of its second ordinary session for the year 2026 and dedicated to reviewing several files, the authority said in a statement on Monday.
"In accordance with the provisions of Articles 29 and 31 of Law No. 22-08, which defines the organization, composition, and powers of the HATPLC, Mrs. Mousserati chaired a meeting of the HATPLC Council on Sunday evening, held within the framework of its second ordinary session for the year 2026," the same source specified.
During this meeting, "the report on reports of corruption received during the first half of 2026 was presented, alongside the examination, in accordance with the same legal provisions, of files related to reported suspicions of corruption, totaling 25 files reviewed."
Under this framework, "the draft annual report for the year 2025 was presented for approval, along with the preliminary draft of the executive decree establishing the mechanisms for transparency, prevention, and the fight against corruption, in accordance with Article 7 of Law 22-08, for further refinement and debate," the statement concluded.
