The participation rate in the legislative elections of this past July 2 reached 21.24% inside the country and 10.75% for the national community residing abroad, according to the final results revealed today, Saturday, by the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Leila Aslaoui.
During a press conference she hosted to announce the final results of the July 2 legislative elections, Ms. Aslaoui explained that the number of registered voters reached 23,872,756 and the number of voting electors was 5,071,020.
Ms. Aslaoui reported that the number of expressed votes reached 4,111,331 votes, while 959,689 ballots were invalidated.
In the same context, the President of the Constitutional Court explained that the number of registered voters for the national community residing abroad reached 854,285 registered individuals, while the number of voting electors reached 91,810.
Regarding the number of registered appeals, Ms. Aslaoui indicated that 320 appeals were recorded, out of which 43 were accepted, 8 appeals were rejected in form, while 269 appeals were rejected due to lack of substantiation.
