The President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Leila Aslaoui, announced today, Saturday, the final results of the legislative elections that took place this past July 2, following the review of the appeals submitted to the Court after the announcement of the provisional results by the National Independent Authority for Elections.
This announcement came in accordance with the provisions of Article 191 of the Constitution and Article 211 of the Organic Law relating to the electoral system.
The participation rate in the legislative elections of this past July 2 reached 21.24% inside the country and 10.75% for the national community residing abroad, according to the final results revealed today, Saturday, by the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Leila Aslaoui.
The National Liberation Front party came in the lead by obtaining 91 seats in the election of the members of the People's National Assembly, according to the final results announced today, Saturday, by the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Leila Aslaoui.
Ms. Aslaoui explained that the National Liberation Front party secured first place by winning 91 seats out of a total of 407 seats.
The National Democratic Rally came in second place with 74 seats, followed by the Future Front with 56 seats.
The Movement of Society for Peace secured fourth place with 43 seats, followed by the National Construction Movement with 40 seats, and then the independent lists with 33 seats.
The People's Voice party obtained 16 seats, while the Socialist Forces Front won 12 seats.
The Freedom and Justice Party and the New Dawn party achieved 6 seats each, followed by the El Karama party with 5 seats.
The Rally for Culture and Democracy and the Front for Justice and Development each achieved 4 seats, while the Workers' Party, New Generation (Jil Jadid), and the RallyTajamou Amel El Djazair (TAJ) each obtained 3 seats, whereas the Ennahda Movement won two (2) seats.
The National Republican Alliance, the New Algeria Front, the Good Governance Front, the Free Citizens Front, the Algerian Renewal Party, and the National Unity and Development Party each obtained one seat.
