Venezuela's Interim President, Delcy Rodriguez, held her first Council of Ministers on Sunday following the capture of President Nicolas Maduro by the United States, public television reported.
The day before, the Supreme Court of Venezuela tasked Rodriguez, who was previously Maduro's Vice President, with assuming the role of Interim President.
The opening of the meeting, broadcast by the public channel Venezolana de Television, indicated that its objective was "to address the strategic lines defined within the framework of the state of emergency decreed by the Venezuelan government."
On the same day, Rodriguez formed a committee tasked with working toward Maduro's release.
