The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Tuesday that they are continuing to target the gatherings and movements of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) elements in Kordofan, Darfour, and the Blue Nile.

In a statement, the SAF added that its operations over the past 72 hours resulted in the destruction of 56 military vehicles and the killing and wounding of hundreds of armed elements in Kordofan. Meanwhile, 47 military vehicles were destroyed, and numerous other militants were killed or injured in Darfour

The statement indicated that four military vehicles were destroyed, and dozens of RSF personnel were killed or injured in the Blue Nile region. Additionally, several fuel and ammunition stockpiles belonging to the armed elements were destroyed in various locations.

The statement affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces are "continuing to expand security perimeters around cities and sites, and are proceeding steadily to expel the Rapid Support Forces and clear the country of their presence."

Since mid-April 2023, the Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces have been engaged in an armed conflict that has left tens of thousands dead and displaced millions both within the country and abroad.
