The events of the 21st edition of the International Algeria Prize for Holy Quran Memorization opened today, Monday, at the National Army Club in Beni Messous, Algiers, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
This edition saw the participation of more than 50 countries. The preliminary rounds, conducted via video conference, resulted in the qualification of representatives from 20 countries to participate in person in the competition finals.
It is worth noting that the closing ceremony will be held at the Great Mosque of Algiers (Djamaa El Djazaïr) next Friday. The event coincides with the 27th night of the month of Rajab, marking the Night of Isra and Mi'raj, during which the top three winners will be crowned.
