The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education has announced that the joint Algerian-Nigerien roadmap will enter into force by the end of this April.
A statement from the department of Minister Nassima Arhab indicated that a coordination meeting culminated in an agreement to set precise deadlines for implementing the various provisions of this roadmap.
The virtual meeting brought together Minister Arhab and her Nigerien counterpart for Vocational and Technical Education, in the presence of central executives from both sides.
The aforementioned roadmap is based on ensuring the efficiency of follow-up and the on-the-ground realization of projects. The meeting witnessed a review of the cooperation axes included in the joint roadmap, with a focus on developing training programs and "training the trainers."
This cooperation includes providing technical support for the Algerian-Nigerien Friendship High School in "Zinder." It also involves transferring the Algerian experience in establishing and managing entrepreneurship development centers within vocational training and education institutions.
This dynamic reflects the shared will to elevate Algerian-Nigerien cooperation in vocational training to a more effective level. The bilateral cooperation looks forward to achieving tangible results that serve the development of human competencies and support opportunities for integrating youth into the labor market.
