In implementation of the decision by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, regarding the regularization of the status of citizens abroad in a vulnerable and illegal situation who are subject to judicial or administrative proceedings related to minor acts connected to public order or other similar facts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs those concerned that they can regularize their status and return to the homeland within an organized framework.
To this end, the Ministry calls upon those concerned to approach the Algerian diplomatic and consular representations in their countries of residence to submit applications for regularization and file the required documents to benefit from this measure, provided that they do not repeat the acts for which they were prosecuted.
The Ministry reiterates the State's commitment to accompanying members of the national community residing abroad, protecting them, and addressing their concerns, in adherence to the high instructions of the country's supreme authorities.
