The permanent joint intersectoral commission in charge of the Hajj 1447/2026 operation held a meeting devoted to following up on the schedule of administrative and regulatory arrangements, a statement from the National Office of Pilgrimage and Umrah (ONPO) indicated this Monday.
The meeting, held on Sunday as part of a series of coordination meetings for the preparation of the 1447/2026 Hajj season, "was devoted to following up on the schedule of administrative and regulatory arrangements, to facilitate and simplify procedures for pilgrims," the same source specified.
The meeting took place under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Redouane Maache, in the presence of the ONPO Director General, Taher Braik, executives from the Ministry and the Office, and representatives of various ministerial sectors and bodies participating in the organization and preparation of the Hajj season.
