Air Algérie Group announced, this Monday in a statement, the launch of new flights to Manchester (United Kingdom) alongside ones to London’s Heathrow and Stansted airports. This expansion of its network in the UK is part of the airline's strategy to strengthen its presence in the European market and meet the growing demand for flights between Algeria and Britain.
The statement explained that work is underway to increase the number of flights to the United Kingdom during the Summer 2026 season to reach 14 flights per week. This move reflects the national carrier's commitment to responding to the aspirations of the national community residing in the UK, providing wider options for customers and strengthening aerial connectivity between Algeria and the United Kingdom.
The Air Algérie Group, according to the same source, emphasized that this expansion “is part of its development plan aimed at improving service quality, expanding the network of destinations, and strengthening its position as a key player in air transport”.
