German Chancellor Expresses Condolences to Algeria Over the Victims of the Fire at the Assisted Childhood Institution in Mohammadia

The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Friedrich Merz, offered today, Thursday, in Berlin, his sincere condolences to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and to Algeria, following the victims of the fire that broke out at the assisted childhood institution in Mohammadia, Algiers.

In a joint press conference with the President of the Republic, the German Chancellor stated: "We learned of the deeply tragic incident that occurred at an assisted childhood institution in Algiers, and in this regard, I would like to extend to you, Mr. President, to Algeria, and to the families of the injured and the victims, my most sincere condolences."
