The Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, congratulated on Monday the national military cross-country team for its honorable results at the World Military Cross-Country Championship held in Greece, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense.
"Following the victory of the national military cross-country team, which won first place globally in the team category at the 60th World Military Cross-Country Championship of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), held in Trikala, Greece, from February 25 to March 2, 2026, the General of the Army, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, extends his warm congratulations to the military sports delegation for these honorable results," the statement read.
The General further expressed his "best wishes to all athletes for continued success in honoring Algeria during international competitions."
