Attaf Receives Phone Call from His Dutch Counterpart

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call this Wednesday from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Tom Berendsen, according to a statement from the Ministry.

During this conversation, Mr. Attaf reiterated his congratulations to his Dutch counterpart on the occasion of his appointment as head of his country's diplomacy and discussed with him ways to consolidate relations between the two countries in the context of preparing for upcoming bilateral milestones, according to the statement.

The two ministers also exchanged views on "the state of escalation witnessed in the Middle East region, as well as the developments in the Saharan Sahel region," according to the same statement.
