President of the Republic's Ali Maâchi Prize for Young Creators: Application Deadline Extended to March 31

The deadline for submitting applications for the President of the Republic's Ali Maâchi Prize for young creators (2026 edition) has been extended to March 31, the Ministry of Culture and Arts announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The ministry specified that the extension of the application deadline for this Prize, initially set for March 15, is intended to "allow the greatest possible number of creators to submit their works."

Candidates wishing to participate in this annual competition must submit their application files at the culture and arts directorates of the wilayas, or via the digital platform of the Ministry of Culture and Arts at the following address:

The Ali Maâchi Prize rewards literary works (novels, poetry, and written theatrical works) and artistic works (musical works, lyrical and choreographic arts, cinematic and audiovisual arts, dramatic works - theater, and visual arts).

The application file for this competition, which is open to young creators aged 18 to 35, includes a handwritten participation request, a sworn statement attesting to the ownership of the work, a CV accompanied by an overview of the candidate's works, and a copy of the work submitted for the competition along with a technical sheet.

Created in 2006 by virtue of a presidential decree, the President of the Republic's Ali Maâchi Prize for young creators is awarded to the top three winners in each discipline on June 8 of every year, marking National Artist's Day.
