The Council of the Council of the Nation, meeting today, Wednesday, under the chairmanship of the Council's President, Mr. Azzouz Nasri, considered the 64th anniversary of Victory Day a glorious historical milestone and an occasion to recall the epics and heroism of the ancestors in the cause of defending the homeland.
The Council of the Council of the Nation explained in a statement that the 64th anniversary of Victory Day is a "glorious historical milestone and an appointment to browse our glorious history and recall the epics, heroism, and genius of the ancestors in defense and protection of the homeland."
It also pointed out that victorious Algeria, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, draws inspiration from the wellspring of Novemberist Algeria and follows in its footsteps, and is now "aspiring to the horizon and striving, for its elevation and sovereignty, to accomplish and launch mega-projects."
The Bureau added that these achievements will contribute to "creating a developmental leap in various aspects of life, and across different parts of the Republic," citing the official inauguration and commencement of exploitation of the iron mine in Gara Djebilet in the wilaya of Tindouf, as well as the launch of development works for the entrance to the zinc and lead mine in the wilaya of Béjaïa, in addition to other promising projects, such as the phosphate project in Bled El Hadba in the wilaya of Tébessa.
