The first edition of the National Days of Individual Theater will kick off in Ain Temouchent next Thursday, featuring the participation of 15 theatrical associations and cooperatives, organizers announced on Tuesday.
Mohamed Tani, President of the wilaya cultural association "Chaml El Founoun," explained that the event—which is among the cultural projects supported by the Ministry of Culture and Arts this year—will bring together 15 theatrical associations and cooperatives from ten wilayas. Participants will compete for the top award during this inaugural four-day edition.
For his part, the event's programming director, Miloud Mahrouz, revealed that the occasion will also feature specialized training workshops focusing on individual theater, monodrama techniques, and on-stage physical expression. Additionally, academic presentations on the subject will be delivered by university professors and field specialists.
The organizers aim to promote individual theater and support young talents by creating a dynamic space for competition and the exchange of theatrical knowledge.
