The 15th edition of the International Cultural Festival of Symphony Music will be held from April 30 to May 7 at the Algiers Opera House Boualem Bessaih, featuring the Czech Republic as the guest of honor, according to a communiqué issued this Monday by the event organizers.
Organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, this 15th edition will be dedicated to the memory of the late composer Noubli Fadel, who passed away on December 14 at the age of 74. The tribute will feature artists and musical ensembles from various countries, alongside the Czech Republic as the guest of honor.
Noubli Fadhel is considered one of the most prominent figures in art, music, and culture in Algeria and the Arab world. He was renowned for his masterful oud performances and his compositions for Algerian television and cinema. Throughout his career, he collaborated with distinguished Algerian and Arab artists, including Saloua, Fella Ababsa, the Lebanese Wadih Al-Safi, Syria’s Mayada El Hennawy, and Tunisia’s Lotfi Bouchnak.
The 14th edition of the festival was held at the Algiers Opera House 'Boualem Bessaih' from April 17 to 23, 2025. It featured the participation of 17 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with Venezuela as the guest of honor.
Launched in 2009, the International Cultural Festival of Symphony Music serves as a platform for cultural, musical, and artistic exchange between Algeria and the rest of the world.
