Solidarity: Launch of a Support Program for Social and Humanitarian Associations for 2026

The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Affairs announced on Wednesday the launch of a support program for national and local associations of a social and humanitarian nature for the year 2026, according to a ministry statement.

"As part of the implementation of the directives from the country's highest authorities, led by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, regarding the importance of supporting civil society, revitalizing the activities of the associative movement, and strengthening support for its projects, and with a view to involving social and humanitarian associations in the economic and social dynamic, the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Affairs announces the launch of a support program for social and humanitarian associations for 2026," the statement specified.

In this regard, the ministry invites national and local social and humanitarian associations "wishing to benefit from this support to propose projects that align with the sector's action program, structured around several axes. These include supporting and promoting care centers for people with special needs; backing work-assistance projects, sheltered workshops, and educational farms designed for people with special needs; as well as promoting the socio-economic integration of women, and caring for children, adolescents, and youth in difficulty."

The program also covers support for care centers for women and the elderly, home assistance for the elderly and people with special needs (including psychosocial support and care), as well as the promotion of creative, artistic, and recreational initiatives for vulnerable segments of society.

The platform will remain open for project submissions for a period of 30 working days from the date of the announcement's publication, the statement concluded.
