The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held one-on-one talks this Monday in Zagreb with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Gordan Grlić Radman. These discussions were followed by an expanded working session involving the delegations of both countries, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia, according to a ministry statement.
According to the statement, these talks were dedicated to a profound evaluation of Algeria-Croatia relations and the exploration of prospects for their development in line with both countries' potential. Key areas of focus included traditional and renewable energy, industry—specifically the maritime industry and shipbuilding—as well as agriculture, particularly Saharan agriculture, along with tourism and vocational training.
Furthermore, “the two ministers exchanged views on several regional and international issues, primarily the developments of military escalation in the Middle East and the prospects for strengthening the Euro-Mediterranean partnership to ensure security and development for the peoples on both shores of the Mediterranean,” the ministry's statement added.
