NOUAKCHOTT (Mauritania) - In a new qualitative achievement reflecting the prestigious position held by the Algerian Red Crescent at both the Arab and international levels, its participation in the 50th Session of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Red Crescent and Red Cross, held in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott, culminated in its election by an absolute majority to the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the organization. This milestone reflects its growing presence within the leadership bodies of Arab humanitarian work.
This achievement holds particular significance as it represents the continuation of an upward trajectory for the Algerian Red Crescent within the organization's structures, following its election during the previous session as a member of the Executive Committee.
